RLRR Spay/Neuter Clinic Day 2 - May, 2009

Sweet little Daisy, brought in for her spay. This one particularly gave me hope, because she was spayed before she will have even one litter of puppies!

Karen from RLRR

People who brought their animals in to be altered were sent home with healthy food for their dogs and cats.

More donated food. Animal Ark donated a lot of food that Sonya and I transported up to the clinic, and I heard that Lauren went around and got lots of food donated from many different stores in the Cities that she brought.

The warehouse setup

Karen and I picked up this little dog - he was so matted that Karen decided we had to bring him in for grooming. His coat stunk so badly that we had to drive with the windows down after we picked him up.

Karen and I picked up this semi-feral girl and brought her in for altering.

The first photo you'll see of Bub. I wrote more detail on him in the "day 3" album.

A littler of puppies that Karen and I picked up - their momma decided she was done feeding them, and they were only about 4 weeks old. Momma was spayed and returned home; the puppies are in rescue (not sure where they ended up for sure)

Same litter of puppies

Akin Hills did most of the neuters here, while the more invasive spays were mostly performed inside Animal Ark's neuter commuter.

Another momma and babies that was surrendered - these little ones were only days old. I believe this mom and babies went to Animal Ark.
