Kirby (Formerly Known as Cash) - Adopted June, 2008

July 2008 - Kirby's mom sent a great update to his former foster mom:

Hello. Here's an update on Cash--first of all I have decided to name him Kirby (it goes good with Kira.) Well he is doing awesome! He IS awesome! :-)

The first night he was a bit stand offish about Kira (she was VERY excited to have someone to play with) but ever since then they are BUDDIES! He is a very smart little boy. He was housebroken by Thursday (he learned to rattle the bells on the door to go out.) He has only had one accident since then and I think I just didn't hear him ring the bells on that one since he went right by the door.) He has learned how to sit, lay, shake and give high 5's.

He has gone to the dog park a lot and gets along with all the other dogs. Sometimes he stays back from them if they are very big though :-) He went to the vet today and got his heartworm stuff and one more dose of dewormer just to make sure. They said that he looked very healthy.

I'm sending pictures so you can see how well he is doing. Hope everything is well with you. Thanks for taking such good care of him, he's a special little guy.
